New York – India’s young grandmasters Arjun Arigasi and Rameshbabu Pragyanand advanced to the quarterfinals of the Julius Baer Generation Cup Online Rapid Chess tournament after finishing second and fourth respectively in the first round.
World champion Magnus Carlsen leads the opening round with 34 points, while second-placed Arigasi has 25 points. American Hans Niemann finished third with 24 points.
